PTT Communication Platform
Build your own professional PTT service with JMediaWork Client SDKs and the JMediaWork PTT Server. Customize the UI and workflow while the platform provides real-time PTT communication, floor control and server-side services.
Client SDK and PTT Server work as one platform
The PTT Client SDK is designed to operate with the JMediaWork PTT Server. Customers build their own UI, branding and business workflow on top of the platform.
Build the PTT experience your product needs
Use SDK APIs and sample UI source to implement your own PTT application instead of starting the communication engine from scratch.
Multi-Channel Receive
Receive up to four PTT channels and present channel activity in a single application.
Channel & Member UI
Build channel lists, per-channel terminal/member lists, current speaker indication and floor status displays.
Hardware PTT API
Integrate physical PTT buttons on dedicated terminals, industrial devices and wearable products through application APIs.
MBCP-based talk control
JMediaWork uses MBCP-based flow-control concepts for PTT floor operation. This describes the floor-control mechanism and does not claim full 3GPP MCPTT compliance.
Priority Floor Control
Apply speaking priority so higher-priority communication can be handled ahead of normal PTT traffic.
Emergency Call
Support emergency communication flows and expose the emergency state to the client application.
WebRTC-based PTT service, group control and communication history
The JMediaWork PTT Server is the required backend for JMediaWork PTT clients. It manages subscribers and groups, WebRTC PTT calls, MBCP-based floor control, priority/emergency operation, history, recording, STT and multimedia messaging.
PTT Group Management
Create and manage PTT groups and operate multiple groups according to deployed server capacity.
Subscriber Management
Create subscribers and assign each subscriber to the required PTT groups.
1:1 & Group PTT Calls
Support both one-to-one PTT calls and group PTT calls with real-time WebRTC-based call/session processing.
One-Way & Two-Way Voice
Support push-to-talk one-way voice operation as well as two-way voice communication for workflows that require interactive conversation.
MBCP Floor Control
Manage floor request, grant, talk and release states using the platform's MBCP-based floor-control mechanism.
Priority & Emergency
Configure communication priority and process emergency PTT operation with priority-aware floor handling.
PTT Call History
Maintain PTT call history and service records for later review and integration into customer management UIs.
Voice Recording
Record and store PTT voice sessions on the server for operational history and later playback.
STT Conversion
Convert recorded or server-side PTT audio into text through integrated speech-to-text processing.
Multimedia Chat
Provide group/subscriber messaging with text, images, video and general file transfer in addition to PTT voice.
Live Video Streaming
Stream live field video together with PTT communication so operators and remote users can view real-time video during voice collaboration.
Linux server, Docker deployment and customer-branded management UI
Deploy the PTT Server on Linux with Docker support. APIs and sample source are provided so customers can build or modify management interfaces with their own branding, workflow and service requirements.
Linux-based Server
Designed for Linux server environments for stable deployment and operation of PTT backend services.
Docker Support
Docker-based deployment simplifies installation, environment consistency, migration and service operation.
Custom UI & Branding
Customers can customize the management UI, branding and workflow instead of being locked to a fixed JMediaWork interface.
Server API
Use provided APIs to integrate group, subscriber, call history, messaging and other server functions into customer systems.
Sample Source
Sample source and integration examples help customers build their own administration and service UI faster.
OEM / SI Integration
Adapt deployment, UI and service integration for OEM devices, SI projects and customer-specific communication platforms.
Scale groups and calls with server capacity
The platform does not position group or call counts as a fixed product limit. Deployments can be sized and expanded according to server CPU, memory, network capacity and required concurrent traffic.
